Delve into Reading 

Here at Caister Academy, we heartily believe that reading and literacy are the key to unlocking success. Our library offers students the chance to read, explore and study a range of fiction and non-fiction materials. During a busy day, we provide a calming environment where students can roam our expansive shelves, not only to accelerate their studies, but to ignite a passion for discovery and reading.  Reading introduces pupils to new ideas and experiences that can be life-affirming and life-changing. 

Engage in Curriculum Content 

Our library is engaged with the curriculum to ensure that students have access to additional reading materials to support, develop and expand their studies. We are dedicated to ensuring that a student understands how to select and evaluate information, and how to use it effectively and responsibly, not just for academic success, but for personal well-being and good citizenship.  

Excel at Independent Study 

One of our main priorities is to guarantee that students have a safe place for independent study. Our library provides access to a range of laptops and headphones, study tables and individual learning spaces to enable personal study and focus. At any time, students can access a variety of materials to enable and support their studies.
