At Caister academy, every pupil, across all year groups, can experience expert dance teaching and extra-curricular development within bespoke facilities. The offer of dance is paired with an ideal environment for pupils to succeed. Dance facilities include multiple specialist studios with the use of stage and lighting at every opportunity. The curriculum has been designed for pupils to receive a diverse and modern dance experience.

Boundaries and stigmas are replaced with an inclusive pathway for all to thrive. Dance at Caister Academy is far broader than the curriculum, pupils are encouraged and welcomed to join the exciting extracurricular dance program offered to all regardless of ability, level, or experience. Alongside this, pupils are involved with our annual whole school dance showcase and termly workshops with external dance industry experts. Furthermore, pupils will develop their physical skills even further with the inclusion of Acrobatics, Circus skills and Cheerleading courses.

The dance program provided, equips pupils with the skills to succeed even further across their whole school experience; in and outside of the classroom.
